The following table gives an indication of the types of materials available for different environments.

BACK TO BACK CLIPS - FITTING 2 SIGNS TO ONE POST BACK TO BACK

When fitting 2 signs back to back you will require 4 off back to back clips.

You must mount one sign to the post in the normal way using 2 off 76mm stainless steel clips, nuts, bolts, washers. Ensure that these are fastened tightly to the post as you will not be able to gain access to tighten these once you have fitted the second sign on the reverse.

Now that the first sign is in the correct position and securely fastened to the post you can then slide 4 off back to back clips into the channels of the existing sign on the post. These are best fitted close to the edge of the channel in order to make it easy to tighten the clips.

You can now slide the second sign onto the 4 back to back clips. Adjust into position and tighten the clips securely.

SIGNS WITH CHANNEL EXTRUSION - FOR POST FIXING - FITTING CLAMPS TO CHANNEL

Unscrew the nut from the bolt. You may need a spanner.

Slide the bolt into one end of the channel that is on the back of the sign.

Then with the u shaped clamp slide the end which has the tag into the opposite end of the same piece of channel (which is attached to the sign.

Slide the bolt through the circular hole on the u shaped clamp and fit the washer and the nut.

This will then tighten around the post (using the spanner)

Fit 2 clamps to the sign
